How is HIPAA compliant?

In order to ensure 100% HIPPA compliance, we hold all information in remote servers and every keystroke is encrypted. All patient information, messages, files, etc. are stored in our secure database.

What if the practice I am referring to, is not on

That's not a problem at all. allows you to send e-faxes to practices that are not using our system.

Will we need to download and install this onto our computers?

No. is a stand-alone, web-based tool, which will not interfere with your current systems. All you need is access to the Internet and a current web browser.

If I make an online referral with, how do I know it will be received?

The providers receive an email letting them know that they have a new patient referral waiting for them. Then they log in with their unique username and password and retrieve new patient information. Once they have opened your referral, you will receive a confirmation. The provider will also update the referral when your patient's appointment is scheduled. All of your referral information will be in one place for easy tracking and viewing.

How do we know when we have an online referral?

You will designate at least one person in your office to receive an email notification from when you have a new patient referral. They will then log into and retrieve the patient information. Once a staff member opens the referral, our system notifies the PCP office. This facilitates better communication, saves time and builds confidence in the online referral process.

Will integrate with my EMR?

Upon request we can provide your IT department or technology manager with a tool to interface your records system with the platform. is a stand-alone, web-based tool that can be used with or without integration into your EMR.
